In 2014, President Barack Obama became the first President to write a line of code, and as part of his January 13, 2016 weekly address to the Nation, he launched Computer Science for All, a bold initiative to empower all Americans from kindergarten through high school to learn computer science and be equipped with the computational thinking skills they need to become the leaders and designers of our digital economy.

As part of the initiative, President Obama issued a broad call to action to expand computer science (CS) in K-12 classrooms, calling on Governors, Mayors, companies, foundations, non-profits, tech entrepreneurs and education leaders to do more to make this critical subject available to students. As part of the #CSforAll launch, more than 50 organizations announced new actions to advance access to CS education.
Limitless was called to action on September 14, 2016 and accepted an invitation to the White House for a Summit on Computer Science for All. KISS Institute for Practical Robotics (“KIPR”) and Concerned Citizens Community Involvement (“CCCI”) the non-profit that powers Limitless entered into a partnership to create a joint Computer Science-STEM initiative for our nation’s inner cities thus creating the Limitless Initiative in 2016.
